Hello and Welcome to our Site
My name is Cheryl Rety and I live in the South Side of Glasgow. I have kept Rabbits since
I was a child and decided 6 years ago to start breeding mini lops as a hobby and an interest for myself
and my 2 children. We are a small family run stud and we do not breed for profit only for our pleasure
and money goes towards the upkeep of our rabbits.
We started up a small stud of 6 does and 2 bucks which we named Rety Rabbits. We contaced
a local breeder who has been breeding quality show mini's for over 30 years.
We chose mini lops as they are so laid back and have great temperaments. They melt
the hearts of young and old alike and are just a pleasure to have around.
We have had some lovely kits this last year (2011) and are looking forward to next year our aim
is to raise good quality happy, healthy well rounded rabbits that are a joy to have.
I decided to start showing the rabbits as a new challenge in 2008 so I am now a
BRC registered breeder. Now 2 years down the line we have achieved a couple of Best in Shows at the Scottish Lop Circle
2* show on 2 seperate occasions with Splash. He has also became best mini lop quite a few times and also had best of
breed awarded on 4 seperate occasions along with 8 challenge certificates to date. We have also achieved Best of Breed
with our Mini Lion Lop Doe Midnight and achieved many Class wins and CC's with our young Sooty Fawn Buck Freddie Freedom.
We hope to continue at this level for 2010. But above all we hope to raise happy healthy bunnies who are a pleasure
to be around.
We work very closley with my very good friend Vel Brandon of Hotcroft Stud and would also like
to thank Vari Dafters for all her help over the years whilst setting up our stud. We have met a lot of other friends
through the hobby it really is a great way of meeting like minded people.

The Colours we concentrate on are;
SOOTY FAWN MINI LOPS and
AGOUTI MINI LOPS - although we do get other colours coming through occasionally.
BLACK OTTER NETHERLAND DWARFS and
CHINCHILLA NETHERLAND DWARFS
